So Prestige How do you feel about your first UK number 1?

- Well we were obviously very shocked that the public responded to the track the way they did, Considering we only released it last week, to reach half a million downloads is really our biggest achievement yet

So were you two friends before you decided to produce music?

- Yeah we,ve been like brothers for well over 5 years which makes it a lot more fun and easier to work with him because we both know each others limits and when somethings working or not.

So Michael was the story about you selling your Boxers true?

-Yep...i sold my Calvin Kleins for charity and in the process i managed to raise £8000 for cancer research whih I was very happy with

This charity is very dear to you isnt it?

Yea its always been a charity close to my heart as my mum died of cancer 6 years ago and the work that these guys do to help many patients with cancer each year is amazing

So what comes next for Prestige?

-Well we got a tour of the USA booked fo next year thats going to be a great trip for the whole group, hopefully we will have fun and learn a lot from our first tour. we've got so much planned to do out there and Darrens looking forward to Florida where he can meet Mickey Mouse.

Concept

My idea is too produce a hip hop styled magazine aimed at mainly teenage boys. It will be called "Kickin" and will be informal as the target audience prefer the use of slang. I will include popular artists of the genre and up to date fonts and content for the magazine. I may use offers or freebies to help promote the magazine as it could increase the amount of people purchasing the magazine.

To make my music magazine successful i will have to take many things in to consideration, The most important factor is knowing your target audience and what they are looking for in a magazine. This is why i will take most of my time on researching my target audience (14-21) so i know what they want and in turn increase the popularity of the magazine. I will need to find out what layout, fonts, artists etc will fit the genre i will be doing. The key idea will also be to give my magazine a professional look which will appeal the audience as they appreciate  the dynamics of the image. The colour scheme i will use will be very important as it will effect the way people think and respond to it, for example if  used pink the public will think its a children's or girly magazine which will give off the wrong vibe for a hip hop magazine.
